Installation

Installing ND-filters and POL (Polarizer)-filters from PhantomFilters.com is easy. The ND-filters and POL-filters are ultra light weight and do not impede on the operation of the Gimbal. If you need a stronger effect you can even add more than one ND-filter (stacking) and use an ND-filter and the POL-filter at the same time.

  1. First, unscrew the DJI Phantom 4 or DJI Phantom 3 UV-filter (counter-clockwise). It might stick the first time so it can help to place some grippy material like rubber between your fingers and the UV-filter.

2. Insert the selected ND-filter into the DJI Phantom 4 or DJI Phantom 3 UV-filter and screw it back onto the camera.

Installation of POL (Polarizer)-filter:

The POL-filter should be installed with the notch (the cut-out) facing UP or DOWN in order for the polarization to work optimally. Simply screw the front (the UV-filter) of the camera until the notch is facing UP or down as shown in this illustration:
